Concrete mixing plant is a complete set of equipment for centralized mixing of concrete. It is mainly composed of the following systems, which work together to achieve efficient production of concrete:
### **I. Raw material storage system**
It is used to store various raw materials required for concrete production, usually including:
1. **Aggregate silo (sand, stone, etc.)**
- Generally, it is a storage silo with steel structure or concrete structure, which is divided into multiple silos according to the type of aggregate (such as coarse aggregate, fine aggregate). Some mixing plants are equipped with electronic metering devices to accurately control the amount of aggregate.
- Some large mixing plants are equipped with belt conveyors or loaders to transport aggregates from the storage silo to the metering system.
### **II. Measuring system**
Accurate weighing of raw materials is the core link to ensure the accuracy of concrete mix ratio, including:
1. **Aggregate metering**
- Use electronic belt scales, batching scales or weighing sensors to weigh aggregates such as sand and stone according to the set ratio. The weighing accuracy is usually controlled within ±2%.
### **III. Mixing system**
The measured raw materials are mixed evenly into concrete. The main equipment is the mixer:
1. **Mixer type**
- **Forced mixer**: Suitable for mixing dry hard, semi-dry hard and plastic concrete. The material mixing is achieved through the forced movement of the mixing blades. It has high mixing efficiency and good uniformity. It is the mainstream choice.
### **IV. Conveying system**
Responsible for the transmission of raw materials and the output of finished concrete, including:
1. **Aggregate conveying**
- Commonly used belt conveyors or loaders are used to transport the measured aggregates from the storage bin to the feed port above the mixer.
### **V. Control system**
The "brain" of the entire mixing station realizes precise control of the production process through automated programs, including:
1. **Central control room**
- Equipped with industrial computers, monitoring software and operation interfaces, the operator can set the mix ratio, monitor the operating status of each link in the control room, and adjust parameters in real time.
### **VI. Auxiliary system**
Supporting facilities to ensure safe, environmentally friendly and stable operation of the mixing station:
1. **Dust removal system**
- Install dust collectors (such as bag dust collectors) in powder silos, mixers and other places where dust is easily generated to collect and process dust and reduce environmental pollution.
