*Cement silo.A concrete mixing plant is mainly composed of the following parts:
Material Storage System
- Aggregate Bins: They are used to store aggregates such as sand and stones. Usually, there are multiple compartments, which can separately store aggregates of different specifications.
- Powder Bins: Generally, they are cylindrical silos, used to store powders such as cement and fly ash. They are often equipped with devices like level indicators to monitor the material level.
- Water Tank: It stores the water required for mixing concrete. Some also have storage tanks for admixtures.
Material Conveying System
- Belt Conveyor: It is commonly used to convey aggregates from the aggregate bins to the batching device above the mixing main unit. It has the characteristics of large conveying capacity and stable operation.
- Screw Conveyor: It is mainly used to convey powders from the powder bins to the measuring device. The powders are pushed by the rotating screw blades.
- Water Pump: It conveys the water in the water tank to the mixing main unit. Some mixing plants also have a dedicated pump for conveying admixtures.
Material Measuring System
- Aggregate Weighing Scale: It accurately measures the conveyed aggregates to ensure that the amount of aggregates meets the requirements of the mix ratio.
- Powder Weighing Scale: It is used to measure powders such as cement and fly ash, generally with high measuring accuracy.
- Water Weighing Scale: It accurately measures the amount of water for mixing. Some are also equipped with auxiliary measuring devices such as flow meters.
- Admixture Weighing Scale: It accurately measures the admixtures to control the amount of admixtures added.
Mixing Main Unit
- Forced Mixer: It has a strong mixing effect and can evenly mix the materials in a short time. It is suitable for mixing dry hard, semi-dry hard, plastic and concrete with various mix ratios.
- Self-falling Mixer: The blades inside the mixing drum lift the materials to a certain height and then let them fall freely to achieve mixing. It is commonly used for mixing plastic concrete.
Control System
- Operation Room: Operators monitor and operate the running of the entire mixing plant through the control system here, including setting parameters, starting and stopping equipment, etc.
- Electrical Control Cabinet: It contains various electrical components and control circuits to achieve the power supply and operation control of each device.
- Control System Software: It can accurately control and manage material measurement, mixing time, production process, etc. It can also record production data and generate reports.
Pneumatic System
- Air Compressor: It provides compressed air for the pneumatic system.
- Air Storage Tank: It stores compressed air and stabilizes the air pressure.
- Pneumatic Components: Such as solenoid valves, cylinders, etc., are used to control the actions of equipment like discharge-gates and feeding devices.
Auxiliary System
- Powder Conveying Pipeline: It connects the powder bins with the measuring device, mixing main unit, etc., to achieve the conveyance of powders.
- Aggregate Discharge Port: It is located at the bottom of the aggregate bin and is used to discharge the aggregates onto the conveying equipment.
- Dust Removal Equipment: Such as pulse bag dust collectors, etc., are used to collect the dust generated during the operation of the mixing plant and reduce environmental pollution.
- Wastewater Recycling and Treatment System: It recycles, precipitates, filters and treats the wastewater generated by the mixing plant to achieve the recycling of water resources.
