Self-unloading mobile drum mixer is a mobile concrete mixing equipment that integrates mixing function and automatic unloading function. It is mainly used for on-site mixing of concrete, mortar and other building materials. Its core feature is that the material mixing is completed by the rotation of the drum, and the automatic unloading can be achieved by tilting or flipping the drum. It is suitable for small and medium-sized construction projects, rural construction, road maintenance and other scenarios.

Main Structure

1. **Drum mixing device**
- The inner wall of the cylindrical drum is provided with spiral blades or mixing blades. The drum is driven to rotate by a motor or a diesel engine, so that the material (cement, sand, gravel, water, etc.) is **lifted-dropped-flipped** in the drum to achieve uniform mixing.
2. **Mobile chassis**
- Equipped with tires or crawler chassis, it can be moved by manpower, motor vehicle traction or self-drive (some models), suitable for short-distance transfer or flexible movement within the construction site.
3. **Discharging mechanism**
- The drum tilt angle is controlled by mechanical or hydraulic devices (usually it can be tilted to 45°-60°), or the drum is turned over to discharge the mixed concrete from the discharge port without manual shoveling.
4. **Feeding port and metering system**
- The feeding port is located at one end of the drum. Some models are equipped with simple metering devices (such as graduated buckets, electronic scales) to control the ratio of raw materials.

Workflow

1. **Feeding**: Pour raw materials such as sand, gravel, cement into the drum in proportion, and add water at the same time.
2. **Mixing**: The drum rotates (the speed is usually 10-15 rpm), and the blades drive the materials to turn and mix. The mixing time is adjusted according to the type of concrete (usually 3-5 minutes).
3. **Discharging**: After mixing, operate the discharging mechanism to tilt the drum, and the concrete flows from the discharge port to the transportation tool (such as a cart, a small transport tank) or directly poured to the construction site.
