Mixing Drum
- Function: It serves as the space for accommodating and mixing concrete materials, providing a place for the materials to be mixed. It enables materials such as cement, sand, gravel, and water to be fully mixed within it. At the same time, it can protect the internal mixing components and work in coordination with external driving devices and other parts to ensure the stable operation of the entire mixer.
- Material: Generally made of high-strength wear-resistant steel plates, it has good wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and impact resistance. It can withstand the long-term friction and collision of materials as well as the influence of harsh environments, ensuring that there will be no problems such as cracking and deformation during long-term use.
- Structural Features: Usually cylindrical or drum-shaped, with both ends closed, and an inlet and an outlet are provided in the middle. The internal surface is smooth to reduce the adhesion of materials, which is beneficial to the smooth flow of materials and uniform mixing. The mixing drum closely cooperates with components such as the mixing shaft and liners to ensure the efficient progress of the mixing process.
Liners
- Function: Protect the inner wall of the mixing drum, reduce the direct wear of materials on the mixing drum, and extend the service life of the mixing drum. At the same time, it improves the flow state of the materials, enabling the materials to roll and mix better during the mixing process and improving the mixing effect.
- Materials: Commonly used materials include high manganese steel, which has good wear resistance and impact resistance. Rubber materials have good flexibility, can effectively buffer the impact of materials, reduce noise, and have a certain degree of corrosion resistance. Ceramic materials have high hardness and strong wear resistance and can adapt to harsh working environments.
- Structural Features: Usually designed in the form of replaceable plates for convenient installation and disassembly. The shape and size are determined according to the structure and size of the mixing drum. Generally, they are arc-shaped or square, and the surface may have various patterns or protrusions to enhance the agitation effect on the materials.
Blades
- Function: They are the key components for realizing the mixing of materials. Through high-speed rotation, they perform operations such as shearing, squeezing, and turning over the materials, enabling the materials to be quickly and uniformly mixed and ensuring that the concrete achieves good workability and strength.
- Materials: High-strength alloy steel is mostly used. After a special heat treatment process, it has high hardness, high toughness, and good wear resistance, and can maintain sharpness and stable performance during long-term mixing work.
- Structural Types: There are propeller-type blades, which can generate strong axial and radial flows and push the materials to circulate inside the mixing drum. Anchor-type blades are suitable for mixing high-viscosity materials and can effectively prevent the materials from sticking to the wall. Paddle-type blades have relatively large shearing force and can quickly break up material agglomerates.
